Anyone know where i can get a spare blade for a roe jig?
Used a normal handsaw this time, but was a small skull and i dont think i could manage it on a good size head.

Can be blade only as id be able to make a handle

I did that this time, but the blade was a bit too deep to go into the jig properly. The ones that go with the jig are much less deep in profile so looking for one like that.

I suppose you could buy a cheap fine toothed handsaw and cut the blade profile down to fit with an angle grinder?

Yes that would work, or cut them freehand, trust me its not that difficult, if using a hand saw get one with the hardened teeth Sandvick are good, but Wicks own brand works fine 5 our 6 quid a time and will do about 20 heads can't be sharpened so just throw them away when they become blunt, but won't break the bank at that price.

If you must have the real thing replacement blade £9.99 from Bushwear, can buy the replacement blades OK
but it seems you can only get the complete saw when buying with a jig.

Not a bad idea, might try that - if it doesn't work out i'll get the blade from bushwear (i can make a handle for it at work).
