Being so pleased as I am with my .243 a s/s sako 85 I looked at a Sako 85 Bavarian .308 as well as others ,but really had made my mind up ,so took the plunge , Really is a great looking rifle with the Meopta 4-16 x 44 on top just need to work up a nice 150 gr load for it . will post some pics when I get a mo.
Big up to Sussex police and my particular FEO who made the variation rather painless despite my paranoia .

Good choice!

If it helps, in my .308 75 I use 43.5gr of VV N140 behind a 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tip. It seems to suit the rifle well.
