Does any 1 use a S &B Stratos or zenith. I’m thinking of getting one of them but finding it hard to chose, any feedback or views on the both scopes would be appropriated,
TIA James

In my experience I don’t think you could go wrong with either, it will just come down to which features you require/ desire. S&B are fantastic just a little on the heavy side

I use a 3-12x50 Zenith FD7, it's really very good, allowing very last minute stuff.
I'm awaiting a 2.5-13x56 FD7 Stratos, purely as I felt I'd been a very good boy, and although I should sell the Zenith, I'm not sure I can bring myself to part with it.

That’s the one I had , fantastic glass

i was looking at the Stratos, my self, I think they about the 1500 mark, but Iv seen the zenith 2.5-15x56 on a good deal for a little over a grand, I’m finding it quite difficult to chose what scope to buy, as they both fantastic scopes, one side of it I be saving about £500, can’t really make my mind up yet 🤔🤔

The 56mm Zenith is 2.5-10x. You've narrowly missed a ridiculously good deal on them by Mcleods of Tain. They also may be able to do you a good deal on the Stratos, definitley worth a call to discuss options.

Iv seemed to missed out on a few deals, always there same 😂 il give them a call and see what they have to say, thank you.

Whatever you go for, make sure it has the flashdot illuminated reticle (I like FD7). The crosshairs are quite fine, which is great for precise aiming, but in low light you might struggle without the illumination.

I have the 3-12x50 FD7, and it's all the scope I'll ever need.
Thank you, that’s the sort of review I was looking for, Im going for the 3-12x50 FD7,

Have a look at Optics warehouse they have both the 3-12x50 and the 2.5-10x56 at £895 new. They have the illuminated L3 reticule. I’ve had the 2.5-10x56 L3 reticule for years, was my first scope, it has served me well and is great at low light. The illuminated L3 is a lovely reticule and cannot recommend it enough. At that price as well it’s a bargain.

No worries. I had a 2.5-10x56 FD7 previously but much prefer the 3-12. I find the mag range suits me better, and the 56mm objective lens was just too big for my liking.

I think the flashdot illumination system is one of the best out there, I wouldn't go for any of the other S&B illuminated reticle options, even if they can be had cheaper (it's for a reason!).

Is there much difference between the 3-12x50 Klassic and the 3-12x50 zenith, Iv seen a few differences but is it worth the extra few hundred pounds Iv seen a good deal on the Klassic, I got a 8x56 Klassic and that’s been a fantastic scope, that’s not illuminated.
