Scope rings for a CZ 457 .22lr

Hello all, what rings are people using for standard synthetic .22lr. I’m collecting one today. I’m not putting a rail on, rings straight to rifle. Objective lens will be 44mm at most. I know they are 11mm dovetail but what’s everyone using?

Like you I went straight to receiver-no pic rail. I used a pair of Talleys: steel, well made and not hugely expensive. They’ve been in situ on my C452 for 6 years and never required nipping up. If you search on here you should be able to pick up a second hand set for not much.

A question to the knowing.
A friend of mine also has a CZ 457 with rings directly on the dovetail.

As there is no recoil stop on the dovetail rail his rings started to move forward.
It‘s a .222 Rem. I should add.

How did you go about solving this?

It must be CZ527 in 222 rem? (which does have a recoil stop on the dove tail)

Actually it‘s the old Fox. I thought this was the predecessor of the 457. Maybe I‘m wrong. No expert in CZ rifles.
But it definitely has no recoil stop.

Sportsmatch lows on mine, 455 & 457. To be honest, I don't feel inclined to use anything else more elaborate nor pricier.

In my personal opinion, if you are looking for mounts for a rimfire and doing want to go piccatinny, I’d only look at BKL mounts. I remember the days (20 odd years ago) of pulling my hair out due to cross over. BKL mounts eliminate that.
