Scotch recommendations

A very kind gentleman in Germany has visited his local council office to sort out my Jagdshein off their own back and removed quite a bit of pain from my upcoming trip. They're quite partial to scotch and I think they've more than earned a bottle from me, so I need recommendations for a good bottle of scotch without peat or smoke please.

Cheers,
Mortlach 12 year old.

Man after my own heart, I love my whisky but I really dislike ‘peaty’, ‘smokey’ and ‘spicey’. Tamnavaulin sherry cask, Fettercairn, don’t rule out an Irish - Jameson Black Barrel or a Welsh for that matter any of the Penderyn’s. Cheers!

Glenrothes if you can find any, it used to be the finishing malt put into blends, very drinkable and doesn't rip your throat out.
Ignore everything I said I've just JFGI and the price of them is through the roof and bought a tear at the price of what I have drunk, what an investment down the throat. 🥹
Reminds me of a chat with a well aged stalker over a piece.
‘Do you have any regrets in life?’

Pondering and furrowed brow. “Och, just one. But it’s a big one”

So I nudge, and wait.

“Well, I regret not having drunk a lot more good whisky in my younger years…………it was so much cheaper then”

Penderyn maderia cask or Cotswold are light un peated and very smooth.
Must say whisky is extremely personal taste and some of the posted suggestions in my mind are quite undrinkable.
However each to their own.

was stalking sika less than a mile from there couple of weeks ago
We went to visit after a tremendously successful morning on the stags with SikaMalc. First went to GlenMorangie and were treated like beggars after they found we were stalkers not golfers. Next stop was BalBlair and we were greeted personally. Our guide apologized for it being late in the day and not enough time for a full tour - and would we like to just go straight to the tasting room? We were asked about out stalking success, and successfully plied into purchasing at least one bottle of their high end stuff. Since then I’ve been a loyal customer.

I believe the same firm that owns BalBlair also owns Pulteny! (Who aslo have some real nice offerings)

Great recommendations so far. TBH you can't really go wrong with most speysides for something easy drinking. Dalwhinnie, Aberfeldy, Aberlour, Macallan all good. I like a Glenfarclas and think the bottles are finished in a nice nostalgic way - make for a good gift.
