Seating Primers

Good morning.
I've started to experience some issues priming my brass.
I have Norma .243 win. Purchased as once fired. Reloaded and fired once by me using CCI primers.
I've done my brass prep but noticed that the new Fiocchi primers wont always seat. They have been ok in 270 and 22-250
The problem is if the don't seat then i cant get it out the shell holder until i put it back on the press and de-prime. What i am finding is it shaves a thin sliver of brass off the side of the primer pocket.
Whats the thoughts?

I can't get my rock chucker press to suitably seat primers. Often only just level or slightly raised. I now use the rcbs priming tool which seats them just below the head. If the Remington primers aren't seated fully they won't go off reliably.
