Set Trigger Pull Weights

I really am starting to like the set trigger unit on my most recent CF2 in .30/06. The regular trigger is 2.5 lbs. with a tiny bit of creep and no real overtravel. The set trigger engages positively and breaks at a very light finger touch. Both of the triggers and the side safety test and operate safely. I have not adjusted or modified the trigger unit in any way. I use this rifle for target shooting and stand hunting.

Is this what would be considered good performance for a BSA set trigger unit?
What are your preferences?
These questions are directed toward set trigger users but any and all input is greatly appreciated.

I have set triggers on both my heym sr20 and combination gun. Both are push forward to set. Both have a very crisp unset pull, one about 3lbs the other about 4lbs.

The set trigger weight on both is pretty light. To be honest I rarely use this feature as I struggle to control a lightweight trigger.

My CZ527 has a set trigger and I've adjusted it so it doesn't engage. It's a superb setup, but the standard trigger is so good I just don't need the set trigger option. It's a .223 Stutzen that I use as my lightweight roe deer rifle so I suspect any extra benefit of the set trigger option is pretty negligible.

So far I have only used the set trigger at the target range. The regular trigger seems to be quite nice for stand hunting.
I appreciate your experience.

I also may gravitate more to the regular trigger for hunting, it feels very good to me. For the target range, that light set trigger really makes me smile. though.
Thanks for the insight.
