I'm glad I couldn't make it this year by the sound of it.
I'm wondering if I went to the same show! A short queue to get in, a bit of a walk across the show ground to the main entrance -but nothing to try the patience or bother the legs. Then straight in with pre-paid tickets, handed a complementary -and really good- show guide, and it was time to explore. Once in, there was more than enough to keep me interested and amused all day. And at the end I had no trouble at all getting out again after it closed at 4:30. Maybe I was lucky, but I'm going back again tomorrow to see/do the stuff I missed today.
It does sound like traffic and parking need a bit of a re-think for net year, but it's been so long since we had a dedicated shooting show that's this well supported by both the trade and the public, I think there's more to be happy about than to complain over. Then again, plenty of people seem to be happiest when they're moaning!![]()
Still!, There was the de-brief at the Hatton, ....... with some very interested, young, soon to be newbies!!!Went to the show yesterday, very very slow getting in,not a good start.
Foodnot good..
To say they could'nt organise a pi**up is not far off, not a beer tent to be found.
Hope its not there again,
