So . . . .

When I was a lad and it was the mid 1970s when the Cold War was getting hot I'd lie awake at night. Having visions of Russian armoured divisions sweeping through the Fulda Gap brushing all resistance aside in a furious and unstoppable onrush of tanks, APCs, self-propelled guns and following lorried infantry.

Then in my very late twenties or early thirties I bought a used Lada Estate. And the horrible truth of the reliability of Soviet vehicle technology confronted me in all its ugliness. And I slept soundly after that.

Huh, cold war getting hot in the ‘70’s?
I believe the temperature was at around -60C in the ‘50’s & 60’s when V bombers were airbourne with blue steel missiles in four minutes & Lightenings were flying mach 2 while Kennedy was chasing Russians out of Cuba.

Thing is, much as I hate the thought, you can fix a Russian tank with a lump hammer & they’re less sensitive to dust, mud & shite than an American or British tank. American & British tanks are more sophisticated technically, so require more technical know how to keep them running.
On the plus side though, I’m sure they have better armour & firepower ... just my thoughts!

That sounds great

And of course having defaulted on our obligations which we agreed to and are contractually obliged to honour, the Eu's response would be?? What exactly?
Magic! Lets find out when it happens .. I’m sure we’ll get by.

I have a sneaking suspension it wont be pleasant Maybe not, but maybe it won’t be that bad either. Who knows?

I fear many many UK citizens would suffer miserably for your hubris Bugger! I might have to take to strong drink

Grow some balls man! You never know, it might help you face the world after Brexit.

Here's something else will maybe get blamed on the EU. Michael Gove (and what species of creature is it exactly? Hmm...it looks like God couldn't decide if was to fish, fowl or good red herring) is proposing to back open fires. More nonsense from Gove. If they peerages to pratts when they retired from Parliament he, Michael Gove, would likely be a Royal Duke of the First Creation.

Wood-burners and bonfire BAN on Britain’s homes as new pollution crackdown prepared

Well Gove is definitely an MP that should be deselected ... he’s as slimy as they come & certainly not a person to trust behind you.

Any fully sane minded individual should & would figure out the outcome of any sort of shooting war, Everyone's a loser, Bloody noses all round, & IF no nuclear tools were employed ... a very long job of repair, to Dresden like landscapes.

Well this is revealing. People who voted to remain. Have the time to protest to remain.

And have not one coherent thing to say.

I grew up up in Germany at the height of the Cold War. Starfighters, Lightnings, and 111's all over the sky. Chieftains and 432's all over the place. Saracens, Ferrets, Scorpions, and Stalwarts too. Sure, the Russian stuff was rubbish. But they had so much of it that they treated it as disposable. For every one that failed early, there were another dozen to take its place. You only have to look at the safety on the AK47 to appreciate their mentality

Not our obligations, our illegal governments obligations, if the EU doesn't like it, they can always hang the perpetrators.
We the people voted out, out of something we were taken into by a duplicitous government, without being asked what our views were.

Neil.

that's easy , we write to the eu that we are no longer members and we will no longer be sending them 39 billion

we would at the same time start sorting trade deals , so if we had done it at the referendum then we'd 2.5 years down the road

The Good Friday agreement and regulatory alignment of markets are what you failed to address with that rather too simple example. So, how would you address these things with your easy and simple solution? I’m most interested to know.

Kindest regards, Olaf

whats the good Friday agreement got to do with the eu?

regulatory alignment doesn't need paying for ? either we agree to the same regs or we don't ?

more false issues from remain...………..

So... are you not going to answer my questions ?
I’ve been excitedly awaiting your proposals for preventing a boarder in Ireland and you setting out your vision for this golden Brexit promise. I’m genuinely interested to know what it is as I’ve been trying - for over two and a half years- to understand the benefits that were promoted by the leave campaign .
Answer that and then we can move onto you laying forth your plans for trade with the worlds largest economy.
Kindest regards, Olaf

It could all be done if the UK accepted the Norway Model. So OK we'd still be in the Single market but we'd regain control of fisheries and farming.
