Do I see a bipod?
I’ve seen worse groups than that off the bench at the club.Well here is my miserable effort today in the wind and rain at around 50yds.
Top group is old eley hv 22 and lower group is rws subsonic.
I made use of some old farm junk...an unwanted frying pan.

It'll have to do until better conditions.
I consider it a vital skill as a hunter! That kind of accuracy and consistency is rare in any shooter
It’s easy - till you try it !
With the regulars that come here, they no longer spend much time shooting off bench - even at matches at 100m
Off hand remains a challenge that frustrates everyone’s ego

That's not bad at all for freehand at 100Having never shot free hand with a center fire in thought I would give it a go.
6.5CM at 100m and its embarrassingdefinitely going to practice!
I did a five round group of sticks just to confirm am not completely ****.

Just a bit of practice and you will be killing deer with every shot.Having never shot free hand with a center fire in thought I would give it a go.

Definitely going to practice with all my rifles at freehand, will be interesting to see how the different rifles perform.Just a bit of practice and you will be killing deer with every shot.
In Germany a key requirement of your annual shooting test is to shoot off hand. Its not a difficult skill, just needs practice. Its also a skill that degrades if you don’t practice.
Well done that man.Been shooting a good bit of .22 off hand lately, probably 800 rounds given it's such cheap practice.
Nothing worth posting here but it's given me a healthy respect for people who are competent and consistent off hand.
