There not Muntjac!

I’ve just got in from a bit of land I manage and aside from the fact there was nothing legal showing that I could shoot, tripping over bloody fallow of course, I was looking at how I could manage to extract once I squeezed the trigger. Really going to need a deer cart. Is is a loooooong drag back to the car.
Lot to be said for munties.

Small deer are gods gift, reds are nothing but a pain in the arse when they’re alive and even bigger pain in the arse when they’re dead!

Fallow are just the right size for extraction, you can drag them easy enough

Well despite the early comments (it needs a steering axle 🤣) when I made mine it has worked very well for the ground I have, also going down and up ditches was a added bonus even with 2 tied on as a deer sled would have nose dived and they would have been in the ditch.
It could be shorter but I use it for pigeon shooting so coming back with a tub full of pigeons in on hit is just fine.
For 1 fallow at a time you could easy make it with 3 wheels and a bit shorter but I will stick with the one I have. :tiphat:

By no means an 8 stone weakling, but as I get older I do actively seek out kit that’ll assist in shifting the bigger deer around. I’ve had proper lower back work done and I don’t want anymore. A proper deer sled (with runners) is next on my list.

These 2 were +135kg on the cart at 57.5-57.8 dressed so add the 8 lower legs heads. Moving quite well.
