Thermal return

Well that didn’t end well, booked in with UPS and paid £57 as a high value item for the privalge only for them to ‘lose’ the parcel , it was last seen at stanstead depot, now who knows they certainly don’t, absolute rubbish company. Raging 😡
I agree, UPS are crap. They chased me for over a year, to pay import duty on a a piece of equipment that I had sent back to be repaired under warranty. I was threatened to be taken to court, and have the bailiffs sent round.
I had to prove that my return was under warranty for them to drop the case. I had emails from the company that repaired it, I had all the emails that went beforehand and all receipts as to when it was purchased, yet still that wasn't enough!
It was £70 odd quid they wanted, which probably isn't that much, but it was the principle of the matter. In the end, they gave up.

It's a repair on my accolades, sticking shutter I think, hopefully won't take long
My accolades are with Thomas jacks now for sticky shutter and lrf issues,they’ve had them 4weeks today and I got a update from them yesterday saying there done but need testing so will be about another week.

Just had email from Thomas jack's saying my accolades are on way back and should have them tomorrow, over the moon with the service from TJ's, 9 days turn around
 
Accolades returned, looking like new, new carry bag.
Now all I need is to get my postage costs back

I’ve just had a message from them,my accolades have passed testing and are being posted today,4 weeks they’ve had them to fix 3 faults, warranty ran out whilst they had them 🙄
 
My XQ50 pro went in for freezing issues, after a few days was emailed to say it was taken from the repair queue to be looked at & would hear again in a few days, a week later nothing so decided to email them, I had a really quick reply to be told that it was going to be a warranty replacement as the issue couldn’t be repaired, but have non in stock & aren’t sure when they will get any. This is really annoying & god knows how long I will wait.

My pals went in for same thing, he waited 7 weeks for a replacement, they did send him a loan scope to use
 
Just checked with them, arrived safely, so just down to any workload q'ing & whether it can be sorted without going back to manufacturers.

Just a quick message to let you know that I have collected the Merger from our repair queue and have been testing it.

Rang up yesterday, chap said it had been re-started & on test, and had "Fallen over" again, they also have no on shelf new stock to replace it with .......... & unsure when new stock might arrive, He's off on holiday next week so it will be in someone else's in tray.

I'd ask for a loan set until they can get some

Just to update on this, my accolades still have sticky shutter and I still can’t get much above 500y on the lrf,not that I need it ,email to tj inbound but there not getting it now until end of shooting season.
