Tick bite , or Ringworm?

I had ringworm once and it took 9 different doctors and 5 weeks before the last Dr diagnose it as ringworm. They all said it was impetigo and treated me with many various spectrum of antibiotics which obviously had no affect on the ringworm so it got much worse. It was eventually diagnosed by a Dr who was a farmers daughter, she recognised it straight away and thankfully the treatment and pain relief started to work immediately. It got so bad that it left me with permanent scaring to my face, I will post pictures later once I find the old photos. My advice is don't always believe what the Drs say - I always carry an antifungal treatment now.

Pictures now attached. Forgot to add that mine looked and started identically as the original OP did and quickly spread all over my body. It actually got worse than in the photos as it was several days after the photos were taken before it was diagnosed and treated correctly.

Looks like ring worm to me seen in the arms of my old farmer friend. His solution used engine oil . It's worked for him and the calfs. If it was me doctors

In the meantime here's something to lighten the topic. And BTW I also think its ringworm.

Anyway bloke I knew thought he had ringworm around his knob piece. A vivid scarlet red circle all the way around.

He saw his Doctor who told him that warm water and soap would sort it.

He was amazed.

"Really, Doctor? Soap and warm water will cure ringworm?"

"No. But it'll do to wash off your girlfriend's lipstick. Now, off you go, I've another patient to see."

Reminds me of the fella I knew whose knob turned yellow. He saw the doctor, of course, and was asked if he'd had any major lifestyle changes. Turned out his redundancy had resulted in him spending a lot of time at home eating Wotsits and watching porn . . . . . .

Sunlight helps a lot too (so long as it is in a place appropriate to be exposed to sunlight).
