So I'm looking to do some upgrades toy Tika t1x. It is standard at the minute and will be primarily used as a hunting tool, on the move or prone in most situations. Any recommendations from fellow owners?

Bin the plastic stock, @PSE Rifle Stocks Multi Purpose is ideal as no modification required to fit the T1x into their T3x stock.

Next is change the plastic magazine well to a metal one.

Picatinny rail is optional, personally don't see the need for it as .22LR is not very effective for killing small game cleanly past 125 yards, so dirrect mount to the 11mm dovetail is ideal.

I will take a look at those stocks thanks. I should have mentioned it's a .17hmr, I've got a wildcat mod on to

Who makes metal magazines for the T1X as never seen one before.

Boyds At-one or At-one thumbhole stocks have both comb height and overall length adjustment for $243
Order direct from their website and it will you cost about £240 to get it into your sweaty palms

Cheers

Mountain tactical in the US do some nice upgrades and ship to the UK. I bought the improved magazine release, much nicer than the stock part, less fiddly, solid engagement, well worth the upgrade.

PSE stocks are nice but you could buy two more rifles for the price of one and plenty of similar options available for cheaper.

This is my T1X, in a stock, didn’t see any need to change the mag well or mag, they are fine as they are and a pic rail as I had a nightvision but swapped it to a scope for targets. Great fun and very accurate little rifle with a “big rifle” feel.

I got a bit carried away with mine. I got a krg bravo chassis , mdt picatinny rail and sterk swept back bolt handle and trg style bolt shroud and a mountain tactical mag release.
it all depends on how much you want to spend. You could improve the stock by adding a rubber but pad and a couple of spacers as its quite short. You could also add a pistol grip. One of the rubber tikka bolt knobs will also improve bolt handlingIMG-0ec2f17c3d5e3d4c040819d612bab845-V.webp

Very nice looking that

I was looking at the soft touch Tikka add ons, but then I was thinking, £60 for a rubber pad, £40 for forened, £40 ish for grip and £150 for a cheek riser, there is nearly £300 straight away.

Has anyone fitted a t3x super varmint stock to their t1x? I have heard they drop straight in one of those
