Tikka t3x 6.5 creed in long action chassis???

Your question leaves many spots open. Biggest question is "why". Do you have a chassis that is for LA mag, or can get one with substantial discount (compared to SA chassis)?

With the info given, there will be one culprit. You need to change or modify the bolt stop, so that bolt will go further back to pick up cartridges.

Other thing is, all LA AICS mags are not compatible with Tikka. MDT site seems to be down, but you can check there later. They specify certain shorter OAL mag that works with Tikka LA.

I can get second hand LA chassis. I know bolt stop is not a problem (sorted). Why on earth there's tons of chassis made for Tikka if AICS mags are not compatible? All chassis used AICS mags. Or I am missing something 🤔

Stuff that people call AICS mags are not equal. Even in short action.

Of course there is original AICS mag, but they're minority. Most obvious mistake you can make with SA is getting a mag with no binder plate, if your chassis only works with binder plate mag. At first it might seem you get longer COAL, but if the mag position vs. action is such that bullet tips will catch under the feed ramp you're screwed.

Same thing with LA, AFAIK T3(x) lower cut-out is not long enough to accommodate "real" AICS LA mag. So e.g. MDT offers 3.560" mag for Tikka. BTW they offer 3 different OAL length LA mags in total, 3.715" and 3.850" in addition to 3.560". Their site seems to be back up and running. The info about mags is kind of sprinkled around but here's one FAQ entry:

you will be fine! i run my 6.5prc in a long action even though my loads are circa 3". my main stalking partner as well runs a 308 in a long action oryx chassis with zero issues.
i have a long action tikka chassis in the for sale section if your interested!
