Time for some new Wellies .... Recommendations ?

I've tried all manner of fancy expensive wellies over the years, most have been decent but lacked longevity.

I got a pair of Dunlop Purofort purely for work purposes, and they are the comfiest, warmest damn wellies ever I slid my foot into. Absolutely indestructible.
Highly recommended.

I wear these all day on a farm,so yes agree with you.

This topic came up a couple of months ago (inevitably! ), and someone recommended Dedito boots. I bought some, can't vouch for longevity, but I am very pleased with them. Half the price of Aigle/Le Chameau boots.
I just want to update my post. 9 months in, admittedly pretty hard going, but I now have splits developing on one boot. Not such good value after all....

Quite pleased with the way they've cleaned up. Have 2 pairs of Chameau on the go and the newer ones which are about 6 years old, maybe older, were looking decidedly tatty even though fine inside and I thought still waterproof. Anyway, gave them both a degrease and scrub and they came up better, but still not pretty from a mixture of peat bogs in West Wales and Dorset accompanied by the usual blood for good measure. Thought maybe that's the best they'll clean up but decided to have one more go on one of them with a stainless brush and degreaser and hey presto. Take these to any posh shoot and they'll think I had them for Xmas o_O :D

Cleaning did reveal 2 small holes in the one I've finished but as yet, I've not felt anything come through

La Chameau are what I use. I find they are the most comfortable. However they are not cheap. I generally get through a pair every 2 to 3 years. More improved now with the metal zip and not the plastic one that used to break.
And another vote for Le Chameau, first pair still going strong, no splits or leaks after 14 seasons, cold weather pair bought 2 seasons ago, do what they say on the tin 👍

I have had a pair of these for 2 years. I do 2-3 dog walks a day in them every day, so about 2 hours a day. A month ago one boot started to split at the ball of the toe. I repaired it with stormsure glue hoping to get another day or two out of it and a month later I am still waiting for it to fail after walking the dog for 2 hours a day and a couple of stalking outings in knee deep mud. I bought another pair for when they eventually fail. Cracking good wellies at a very good price.

I have just had a pair of Skellerup Quattros delivered. Just need to get home and try them on. Lots of places say to order a size under what you normally wear and I hope that is correct!!

I ordered my shoe size ie 9 rather than my boot or welly size - 10 and am glad as even 9 is slightly big but a thicker sock will sort it - up to press I'm impressed with them

La Chameau for me always zip sometimes leather sometimes neoprene. 3 year at best for neo but I wear them constantly for stalking all year round and I like them, think leather last longer for some reason. The rubber always breaks down just below the zip but I never really clean them like you should.

If mine start leaking or I spike climbing over a barbed fence I use Aquasure to reseal them works great even fills holes when chucks are missing

Lots of good feedback here about Aigle Iso Parcours 2, but how the hell do you get them to last over 9-12 months? My wife can wear a pair out in 9 months working with horses, I'll get 12 months or maybe a touch more... ridiculous really for the price even though they are comfy.
