Torque setting for tikka T3 action screws.

Can somebody tell me the torque settings for the tikka T3 action screws? It is a .223 lite with a walnut unbedded
stock. Thanks in advance for any help.
 
35 ft lb is the usual recommendation and what I use.

My understanding is that if you have the original plastic bottom ‘metal’, anything more and the plastic starts to distort.
 
The bottom metal is exactly that, metal. I changed it to an after market metal one when I first got the rifle in a plastic stock.

Basically Torque = Force x Distance
This would be Newton Meters, pound force feet or pounds force inch.
12 ft lbs by the way 😉

Are you suggesting that the OP should torque his action screws to 12ft/lbs?
