As soon as they have the patience, and understanding that ......
It ain't a computer game , you WILL GET COLD, YOU WILL GET BORED ,
WE as Fathers have to make it fun , if that sinks in, and it's in them( like us ) we've cracked it ,
Camping, fire , bushcraft etc , but ......
Sometimes it just ain't in um ,
That's life , we all have different hobbies/ pursuits in life
That's what makes us individuals,
It's up to you as a father to decide , and your child will tell you/ make u aware that they are ready,
Or maybe not
You will know, my son and 2 girls know how to shoot, use tools n build fires etc ,
My son n eldest daughter are not interested , but............
Just like learning to swim or ride a bike/ car
They know the basics, that will not be forgotten, any skill WILL , go into the back of the mind , and can be used later on in life
Happy memories of the outdoors sink in
It's called knowledge / the basics ,
Passed on
