What am I doing wrong

I have tried to reply to someone on this site, after writing a lenghty report three times on trying to send it I found I have been logged out ?? why is this it's doing my efin head in.

Thanks will do that, but I think cutting and pasting from word seems the easiest for me
And why are you up so early (is it for numpties like me)

What preference would you want it to remember?

If you tick 'Remember Me' when you log in you stay logged in forever (until you click Logout) so nothing more needs to be remembered!

Obviously there is a security implication, in so far as if you leave your screen unattended someone could feasibly wonder over and start posting using your account so some common sense is also required. i.e. Lock screen or Log Out when away from computer.
