What are the best scope mounts available?

I have just bought one of the best scopes available. Now I need to attach it to my rifle. I want to keep the setup light weight and have the confidence I have kept zero.

On piece or two piece. I don’t kind as long as they work.

Spur, (my next purchase)

Optilocks - on a tikka - worked perfectly
Leupold - Quick release for Picatinny rail - currently on most of my guns.

Sports match - for airguns or Leupold for airguns.

I’ve had issues with other brands so only use the above - Leupold have been my go to mounts for a long time.

Theres a few suggestions here

I've used Spuhr, Tier one and original Blaser mounts. Spuhr are epic,, but wuite bulky and heavy compared to others. What type of rifle is it going on and what scope?

Spuhr have light weight versions and have very good pica rails. Rail for my new 6.5 is on the way.

Other than the cheapest of the chinky's; they're all good if properly fitted!. At the top of the tree are Contessa, Sphur, Tier One, Talley, Recknagel, my own favourite: Millet and an American one I can't remember the name of!.

depends on your rifle and how clunky or sleek you want it to look, receiver design and if QD?

I'm useless at the tacticool stuff, but for classic quality, look at:
EAW
Recknagel
Talley
Conetrol
S&K

Personally - I rate Rusan mounts the highest as they are as good as the best, and at a very competitive price. I also rate Conetrol but actually find S&K better and sleeker with more offset/extended options.

Talley make excellent rings and bases that are lightweight but perfectly functional and strong

Rechnagal (spelling) the same

For more “tactical” then Tier One, Badger, TSS etc

The tier ones are good due to the unbuilt bubble level helping to prevent scope “cant”

What a crock of s##t people come out with trust me my opinion is the only one that matters either Recknagel or Spuhr, I mainly use recknagel on most of my bolt actions and doubles.
Spot in, but apart from the cheap steel used in recknagel, they’re awesome
