what factory ammo groups tight for my pro hunter in 243 cal??

iv been stalking and shooting fox for over 18 years, my 1st rifle was a tikka in 243 cal, with pecar 6x45 at 1st i had problem finding ammo that shot well tryed everything and ended up with winchester 100g, i then upgraded to a sako 75 hunter synthetic/stainless and swarvski 6x42 this was awsome set up, after few years i wanted better groupings so started re-loading my own and was grouping 1" at 250 yds after owning 4 sako's i decided to treat myself to a sauer 202 lux and variable swarvski i was well happy with results, with one thing and another over last 2 years iv had to sell everything wich was a killer, but back on my feet now plenty of stalking here on my doorstep and waiting to get a pro hunter mk2 delivered to my local rfd, im looking forward to getting out stalking again but have i made the right choice in the pro hunter?? i wont for a wile till i can afford to re-load again so im a bit worried what factory ammo shoots well please can anyone help who ownes a pro hunter 243, what ammo shoots best,

I also have a pro hunter mk2 and shoot factory ammo. I have tried plenty over the last few years including federal, norma and winchester. The best i have found in all of these is the federal 80grain soft nose. It is a light round but as I personally never shoot anything over the size of fallow this round suits me and my rifle perfectly. The best heavier round was norma 100grain soft nose.

thanks ver much for that ill buy some 1st thing, tryed 90g sako wich grouped realy well through my tikka, sako 75 & sauer 202 and they didnt group aswell as i thought they would bit disapointed but never mind back to the range tomorrow before weekend stalk. . .

Have you ever tried 100 grain RWS ? In the past I found that it was not the cheapest, but certainly proved accurate out of some finnicky rifles which didn't like other ammo.
