What jobs?

Lost your gloves  Last time I saw them, they were nailed to a fence post at the back of the cottage with about 20 holes in them from Mr B's 308 and my 270

No only joking mate. Have you really lost the tarts mittens then

Fallow Stalker,
I hope you find them soon, you will need them for the 'Gay Pride March' this summer! Tee...hee

stone i noticed you said you did a gamekeeping course i just wondered who with? when i left school i was trainee gamekeeper and the course was ran by a company called rural pursuits ltd and they were based at the wales and carmarthenshire game farm nr llandielo were you on the same course by any chance.it was 20 years ago.

Hi Beowulf :)

I know, I deserve that reply after my earlier Post :!:

It's not all lost on the Possum gloves front.

I have had another messege from the Frozen North
and I am told That the Stig has them

He has been Ice Fishing again today and has used them to stop
his tackle freezing  and he has also landed some Old Trout

Dont knock the gloves until you have tried 'em

Natural fur you cannot beat it and the hunting and sale of the skins
of the NZ Possum Trichosurus vulpecula is helping save NZ's native
birds :)

Those gloves were £35 on that site. I would say they are a bit overpriced. Well, their opossum hat seems to be quite good. Seen often in Antarctica they say. Should I order one for you as well?

Hi Beowulf
How many were you thinking mate? Im easy on it :-D 4 maybe 5 :???: It would be good to meet up with everyone :-D Theres a few good pubs around here that do good food so we should be ok for eats :-D
Went over the farm last night to check all was ok. The reds are looking happy now there in the barn & not standing in 6" of water. I cant believe how wet the fields are. The bison have piled weight on over the last month as well, Probably all the potatoes, sugar beat & sileage mix. :-D

Hi Steyr 243,
Yes 4-6 folks that sounds about right. Although I don't think Stone has got permission yet!

hi Beowulf
lucky for me my other half is used to me going stalking at all hours and sometimes never sees me for days in the roe rut
luckily she does not know when the roe rut is
styre 243
just need the name of a decent B+B that takes 4 rowdy stalkers and a pet WULF

Beowulf
A bloody gym  Thats a swear word in my books :!: I drive past 1 every day on the way to work & think shall i  Then pull into the cafe next door :-D
Hi stone
Im sure i can sort out a decent B&B that does a good fry up ( and double for Beowulf) :-D

The thing about gyms is that they are the natural habitat for some lovely well tanned and toned beaver! The only problem is, whilst looking at them, I keep walking over my own tongue on the running machine!

Nick any idea when we can all get together? pm me if you like. Excellent photos by the way. Great deer and very big bison!

Beowulf
I agree about the very well toned beaver. Trouble is they never seem to come into the cafe next door to talk to me.
They look great in there tight tracksuits & wet steamy hair  OMG youve got me going now  Ill be back in a min, ive just gotta pop onto another website :!: :-D :-D

Its up to you when we have a get together mate. Depends if you wanna see the deer in the barns or out on the fields :???: we will put the deer back out again when it dries up a bit or goes frosty. just depends on the weather really
The bison will go back out probably around march but depends on the ministry & when they will let us test them. ( Check this out for a laugh then. It appears were the only bison stock in the country that has been told to test) well thats the ministry for ya
Its a job & half ill tell ya.
Ask tikka308 about the size of the race & crush we have to use to control them

Blimey Nick sounds a task and a half! I was hoping for March time and hopefully some better weather. I don't know what Stone will say, he is rather excited! He keeps running around in a cowboy hat, a tin star and a pair of cap guns, shouting "YYeeehar! I'm gunna shoot me a buffalo!"
I've told him that we aren't shooting any Bison but he won't listen! Too many smarties I think!  Its his misses I feel sorry for! Imagine walking around Tescos with a fully grown man dressed like 'Mike TV'!
I'm a dead man when he reads this! :???:

Beowulf
March sounds good to me. The weather should of picked up by then as well. The deer really do look better out side anyway & we can still get up close enough to stroke some of them. The old girl mite even show you how her teeth have worn down if you feed her by hand. Just watch that little white faced stag tho cos im sure he will have an antler up your "ring" given half the chance.

Yep your gonna get some flak when stone reads that mate

The crush for the bison was imported from canada & i fabricated the race & tub assembly along with the trailer to move it about. Its about 50ft long in total with seperate compartments to hold 6 bison at a time & a rotating tub to move them around inside. Good bit of kit really.
