What Rifle Calibre to Add or Change

I suppose the same for .243 and .308 and plenty have them in the same cabinet.

Scotty the gunsmith showed me a ****ed up action and after I asked wtf he said" have a look at the case" 'yeah ok so'
"Its a 308 case"...

Another thread where people just recommend the calibre they use! I’ve got a 7mm08 and a 7mm RSAUM …. But I wouldn’t recommend either given your current cabinet content.
All the calibres work. It’s the one that you can feed and shoot that is best for you.
You’ve got a .243. No point having a 6.5 creedmore or a .308…
Something at the other end of the spectrum.. you need a .270, a 3006, a 7mmrem mag or a win mag…

Why not a 308?
It’s as much bullet at a 270 and there are lots of rifle and bullet options to select from, arguably more ‘platforms’ if you want to use box mags or have a rifle with more of an M4 look about it - also 308 can double up as a range gun with plenty of cheap ammo on offer.
