What scope on a 243??? Help???

Keep it simple and go for a fixed power scope from a mid-range Brand such as Meopta, Leupold, Sightron, Redfield.
8x56 is the norm under deer stalkers but personally I prefer a 6x42.
Remember most shooters/stalkers and are under the spell of the marketing men, they are over-scoped and pay a lot of money for capabilities they rarely or never need, such as ballistic recticles, illuminated recticles, variable power, etc. etc.
