Whats tonights tipple

Carmel Turtle...... hints of carmel and chocolate in bourbon. Mellow and smooth a non traditional taste .

Son saw this in Heathrow today hoping for dn early birthday present
Used to see bottles of Whisky of similar prices in the Alcohol Shop in Qatar. Made sure i kept my trolley with a wobbly wheel well away from it when going round.

Of cource £25k bottles of Whisky were there for the Indian driver who would be going round the booze shop, and not for the fat local sat outside in the passenger seat of the Land Cruiser.

Another nice one ive recently discovered in Asda is Scapa but I have also found its down to the pallet of the drinker what I like you may not like monkey shoulder I'm not to kean but the wife likes it amd describes a totally different taste to me

A strawberry gin and tonic followed by a reasonable Malbec to go with the venison haunch steak and beef sirloin steak we're having as a turf'n'turf combo this evening. Had the surf bit with for lunch (pilchards).

Today's tipple was suppose to be culling Cwd today but ive to work tommorow so a few beers early night and look forward to next Friday when I've a day on the estate culling Muntjac and fallow at work 20210220_152939.webp

Nothing for me during Lent but developing a great thirst for a bottle of Dalwhinnie which is sat on the shelf as temptation.
Easter Sunday there won't be much left by bedtime.🤪
