I have a Chapuis in a .375 O/U. Wanted a different make.I have spoken to the Heym Factory directly on a couple of occasions - they have been very helpful.
Also have a look at some of the other double rifle builders - Chapuis etc.

will give them a call directly. That would be the best.I have spoken to the Heym Factory directly on a couple of occasions - they have been very helpful.

I've just been on Heym's site for the first time in ages and there are some extraordinary guns there (click "load more" every time you see it). I used to think of Heym as making really good quality but essentially plain guns, amid a Central European taste for florid ornamentation, and liked them all the more for it; but it seems they've now become an impressive atélier for engravers, too. I guess that may always have been the case, and my Heym-owning friends just preferred to spend their money on going hunting.Have a look at Zimmermann Waffen oHG
Also don’t discount Merkel or any of the other Ferlach or Suhl riflemakers. Many will build a nice double rifle for considerably less than a British double.
But if you want a Heym I would get in contact directly with them and go and visit them - but once all the current shenanigans settle down.
I visited Peter Hambrusch for in Ferlach last year, he is building some really nice rifles and well worth a call as well.
