For beating - cheap waxed jacket from farmers store.

I have a camouflage swanndri vintage used twice extremely warm and water proof I had a brass zip put on it and two pockets that can be removed these smocks have no pockets and are quite rare I’ll send a picture if your interested

I have a Swazi. Wapiti model. It is wind proof and water resistant. Maybe supposed to be waterproof but we don’t get much rain. I am going to have pit zips put in as it can’t get moisture out fast enough.

I’m interested but am slightly ambivalent about the concept of a wet cotton outer being restrictive and heavy and also that it is loud. The water resistant issue smock which is probably similar to the outer is rather rustly

Have found its much less rustly than the issue one. DWR finish keeps the Nylon outer from getting sodden. Providing you re-apply every couple of year or so I have no dramas!
