Anyone had any issues with the above thermal? I had mine's out today after having it for a week. The inside steamed up and would not clear... has to go back to the factory now apparently... raging. View attachment 90036
 
really bad this, over 2k to buy and this happens,

i would ask for a replacement NOT a repair,

First outing Bob... Mild drizzle this morning and a little embarrassing considering the stats state (bottom) -

The shop were ok but it sounds like it will be a "repair". They did state it would have been a straight swap but they never had any more in stock. Shame I have a week off and the new toy can't even be refunded until the repair facility decide what's wrong with it.

My HD50S kept shutting down and finally gave up completely. I was having to hold in the aux power supply plug. Some of the Pulsar plugs do not seem to fit well!
It went back to Scott Country and I got what appeared to be a brand new replacement a week later direct from Thomas Jacks.
 
this is not going to help my shooting buddy who is looking at this unit as a direct replacement for all the gadgets we have in the truck?

i also would,rather have a replacement than a fix god only knows what has been coated in condensation and may well POP later on,

Hmm I'm tempted to just take a refund. Apparently this is the first one they have heard off. Just my luck!

Had mine out in the rain without issue...

Take the refund and order elsewhere... at least that way you will get a replacement unit and a lot faster than having to wait for the repair department...
 
Scott Country told me last week that they were expecting 60 on the 24th November but I didn’t want to wait. I assume this means that Thomas Jacks will have stock midweek so maybe you could reject and reorder.
I ended up buying from Ian at Blackwood Outdoors and am very impressed with his advice and service.

Cheers lads, apparently I can't get a refund until it's been assessed by the repair centre. Hopefully I'll hear tomorrow.

What makes it more bitter is I was wanting to replace it with a 50 anyway!
 
Not yet mate, I have had good customer service so far. It's not the shops fault (infact they went were very proactive)... Awaiting report from the service centre.
