Morning all
Anybody running 114gr yew tree LR projectiles in the 6.5 cm? What’s working for you, powder velocity, performance?

I got the 112 for my creedmoor worked up a nice load but not tuned it yet due to operation on my hand

I’m putting that out of a 6.5x55 with great results.
Not sure if it’s directly comparable with 6.5cm but n555 tested best for me and I’m using 49.3gr for 2980fps

Are you sure old chap? My load is N555 41gr, using Lapua brass. I P-maxd 49.3gr out of interest and it came out at 70,375 PSI.......

Yep I have shot literally hundreds perhaps a thousand of these rounds and have had no signs of pressure sticky bolts or anything. I gave up using fancy software mind you so I can only tell you what works for me. This is in a 6.5x55 not 6.5cm though.

The vhit max load for 6.5x55se with a 120gn bullet is 49.4gn so this is not really that out there for a 114gn load.
I do use a drop tube to avoid compression though.

The 114 TLR in my 6.5 creedmoor
RS60 44.5gr
60 thou off the lands
3010fps
Very accurate and effective

Got a mate running N150, 39 grains, COAL 2.205" and 2920 fps out a 24" barrel. Did a thorough job on load development. Not sure how he measured COAL but that's the number he gave me.

what is the qurray you purpose to use these for please are these a deer or a varmint bullet ? looking for infor not critisiing?
