ZEISS thermal front add on

Does anyone have any experience with these?
A friend is struggling to hold zero when removing and reinstalling days later??
Not sure if it’s set up correctly or whether could be issues with the add-on?

Also wondering what real life accuracy from this is to be expected/ can be achieved as I know most YouTube videos will not be true representations due to endorsements/sponsorships.

If it’s as bad as the Pulsar Krypton I had the misfortune of owning it won’t be reliable in the slightest of holding zero on remounting.
