How did the swap to the 6.5 go FB?Listen pal - at my age I’m just happy to be still breathing , heavy or otherwise!
It was a sticky nite in fairness but never noticed it with the Pard008p.
Anyhoo Zulus is about to be promoted to the 6.5 - for one week only…..

Not yet done - Scotland on 14/6 so a couple of weeks to sort it. Had the 6.5 out yesterday for a zero check - spot on at 200 sonow having second thoughts…
Triple deuce and Zulus though are absolutely lethal - 3 off B&Q’s finest sticks at 160 yds yesterday
.What version of the firmware did you install?Well now, I've done a firmware update and formatted the card after advice from OW.
I hope it works because if not it's got to be returned
You can find the version by going into the main menu, selecting system setting and then selecting version

OK, just to check, if you reticle is not exactly in the centre of the screen at base magnification, does it move to the centre of the screen when you increase the mag to x7.5 and higher?

Guys, you're making it all sound difficult. I've had several Nv's over the years, Wraith, C50 and a variety of PARD007's. The Zulus has 4 large ambidextrous buttons easily found even wearing thin gloves. Once it's set up the only 3 buttons I press in the field )are 1) on/off. 2) Left button change from Day to Night. 3) Record.So far so good

The little Zulus continues to impress me. This video of a fox at 100m, taken at 2203hrs on a cloudy night with no IR illumination, shows the capability perfectly.

I don't have any problems with the buttons and hopefully my issue is over.
My last victim was shot without IR.
They are good units absolutely.

It’s absolutely true that the Zulus has perhaps thesimplestbest button arrangement going but when you get to a certain age moving from five Pard compass-style buttons to four Zulus is a bit of a challenge. Saying that as a graduate with honours of the Eric Morecombe Academy I do still use the 008P and the different again 007 buttons arrangement so maybe I am not so bad after all….

Excellent! Glad you got it sorted Smelly. I think they are very good and at a great price point too.

Another hot tip - it is very easy to block the rangefinder when adjusting focus, this explains why I got so many “Ranging Error” messages on screen - until the proverbial penny dropped!
