You can get them without the IR & just add your own.Has the Pard ds35 jobbie died ? I don't seem to notice much said of them??
I do think they are ugly with the laser poking up in the air like they do.
Any comments?
The current Gen 2 version of the DS35 has an LED IR which is not a patch of the laser IR in the Gen1 versionHas the Pard ds35 jobbie died ? I don't seem to notice much said of them??

It can't fit in quality 30mm mountsdid everything

The N470 ceased production about 3 years ago and there is no backup if it fails. Those n470 look solid jobs, Ben speaks highly of them, have you any experience with them @mealiejimmy , anyone?
Yes, that's true, but with a Zulus, I don't need to spend any money buying rings - I just slap it onto the picatinny rail (or dovetail) and I'm good to go.It can't fit in quality 30mm mounts![]()
Not sure got to be 200 to 300 rounds through the .223 and say 170 through the .243 and God only knows with the .22 rimfire. All with Pards I have one on each rifle .The sight whally![]()
So, which choice?
I think I will end up with a decision to make.
Hopefully they will find a fault and offer a replacement.
Or a refund??
Or they will say that they cannot find any faults and offer to return, to which I will say no thanks and then I will be offered a part payment and out of pocket, FFS.
Faced with that last option, what would you do?
And while you're here, what is the best nv sight?
And I mean reliability!
I'd try anything if it was built proper like....
Thanks.
I had a gen1 ,field of view wasn’t up to much for night foxing otherwise nice clear scopeHas the Pard ds35 jobbie died ? I don't seem to notice much said of them??

There were three people in a car that broke down, a mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer and a computer engineer. The mechanical engineer reckoned the gearbox was at fault, the electrical engineer thought in must be a faulty battery, the computer engineer said:- "Lets all get out and get back in again".it's just like when computers or mobile phones play up, you switch them off for a few seconds, and then switch them on again.
Good choiceOW have said that they hope to send a replacement tomorrow pending inspection and a call to discuss options.
I think I will give a replacement another try just incase it was an isolated event....

Those poor foxes - good to hear you’re back in the saddle Smelly. So, it actually went very well.
Mount shimmed and solid.
Bore sighted had me only a few clicks off centre.
Ready to rock within a few shots and I took a fun shot at 486 yards using the ballistic program loaded from my phone missing the target by a few inches to which I was wobbling about more than!
Thanks to optics warehouse, Thomas , George and Andy.
