How many of you guys are bikers

Yes.

Started when I was 17 with cheap 250's and 500's then had GSXR 750 slingshots of which I had a couple then moved onto GSXR1000's which I rode like a nutter until I had a bad accident and had a long break while my kids were young. Went and bought a new GSXS 1000 early last year and bloody love it!! Toying with buying a GSXR750 for use on the track as well now.

Another ex-biker here. I started out with a Tomos 50cc moped () but very rapidly moved on to a KMX 125. Then a TZR125, the obligatory 350LC (the F2, with the sexy fairing ), then an XJ550, an XN85 Turbo (remember them? Mine was silver, with 'OBRUT' on the front of the bikini fairing to terrify car drivers who looked in their mirror, lol) I even had the big Gamma (RG500) for a while. 3 weeks, to be exact, until it's hooligan ways terrified me enough to get rid of it. Then a 1000RX, before trading that in for the GPX600R, and finally falling for the charms of the ZXR750.

Not been on a bike in years, but at one point I'd have laughed you out of the pub if you'd told me I'd end up giving up riding

The VFRs were gorgeous though, weren't they?

I always wanted a V-Max. I thought that was the sexiest damn thing on two wheels I'd ever seen

It had new cams fitted by Honda after the "Cadbury" cams thing . I rode it for years after with no trouble , drove it into my shed after my first heart attack and it's still there.

Sold my 9r after being referred to as 'donor boy' by the two paramedic beaters at Altcar shoot.

yep , that's what all the nurses called them when I was in hospital with chopped off fingers (now re attached) after a crane accident

I'm in, BMW R1200GSA for the last few years, before that a Ducati 999S and before that Kawasakis. Just limbering up to turn an XJR1300 into a Cafe Racer - still in the "imagination" stage at the moment but likely to turn into a project for this winter.

This is interesting - there's a state of independence about riding a bike, just as there is about stalking. I shouldn't be surprised at just how many riders there are and the level of commitment, and I'm glad the question was asked.

Sold my collection last year, sorry, have a quad left and if it counts it spends most of it's time on two wheels :-)
