I noticed on the news there were 13 new laws being drafted for the repeal of the EU Law, things that were not covered by the repeal, fishing, and agriculture were the two mentioned. I assume Scotland will re-acquire their fishing rights around the UK.
The other bit is this "Price for leaving the EU" isnt it true there is no signed off, audited accounts for the passed 11 years, so how can anyone put a price on who owes what to whom?

Leaving will be progress to all of us who are old enough to remember when we ruled this country.
All those who disagree would probably be best served by moving to a country more to their liking.

More houses we don't need, with no supporting infrastructure, but the eu says we need them apparently ?

Remember posting this pine marten ((As an aside, I had lunch with the office Leavers today and it was quite nice to see them looking sullen and downcast for the first time in four months. As for me, I found I had a bit of an appetite and emptied my plate!)

I don't know about the particular housing shortfall in Rochford, and it is certain that housing developments go up with no supporting infrastructure, I see it in London too. But that's because planning departments aren't doing their jobs properly and because developers are chasing big profits in a crazy housing market. But how on earth is the EU behind it in any way??!

Yep, I do, and I'm afraid that's just how I roll: build up a huge amount of hope and anticipation, come crashing down to earth brutally, dust myself up and move on to the next cycle. It's not good for me. But one of these days, one of these flights of optimism is going to come good! Not this one though. Haven't even crashed all the way yet. You guys enjoy your moment.

I am now cogitating over how a nett contributor to a fund can be in a position to receive a bill?
I was puzzled by this too. It appears that the EU is forbidden to run a deficit, but has been doing so for years, dodging the rules by pretending it isn't a deficit and now it's a couple of hundred billion euros of debt. It makes sense that a portion of that is attributable to the UK, despite the UK repeatedly formally objecting to the practice.
Much of the other money they're claiming is absurd and just having a laugh.

Time to say goodbye and oh by the way sod off no more money from here .Too many people living in doorways and sleeping rough here ,no more "projects" abroad till we have sorted our own house out.
No care homes so hospitals are full =build some say 1 in every town and city ,that might create jobs in building ,care work and they might buy food ,electric gas and services creating more jobs .Hang on 500 care homes = 50000 beds =50000 empty hospital beds ,simplistic to some but to others it may make sense
