As plonker has pointed out, this is well covered in another thread, a fool and his money are soon parted..... something looks too good to be true it normally is. got enough shooting kit to last a lifetime mate , so not gonna shell out another £300 +notes on another jacket to add to the collection that I don't need lol , I had to buy one just to see what it was like , I'm gonna see if it's any good for around camp , by the fireAs plonker has pointed out, this is well covered in another thread, a fool and his money are soon parted..... something looks too good to be true it normally is. Sorry, that part wasn’t meant as a personal dig. As to the “around the camp fire” bit goes, be careful, from the reviews I’ve seen of other unfortunate victims of the scams, they are highly flammable poly synthetic crap, no trace of wool to be found!got enough shooting kit to last a lifetime mate , so not gonna shell out another £300 +notes on another jacket to add to the collection that I don't need lol , I had to buy one just to see what it was like , I'm gonna see if it's any good for around camp , by the fire
A fool I ain't bud , hope that's clear lol
Not took personal at all mate , if it's that bad , I'll use it to start the fire lol lolSorry, that part wasn’t meant as a personal dig. I have worn mine underneath my shell jacket and it added warmth and a high neck to keep the wind out, for 25 quid its a decent extra layer and would do me fine come the spring as a lightweight top with hood and large front pocketNot took personal at all mate , if it's that bad , I'll use it to start the fire lol lol
Be well mate

Good call on removing the pocket, it makes for a cleaner look.been out in it today and its windy, only a t shirt and a thin fleece and its warm no wind is getting through, so result, very happy and I removed the pocket, i will do a proper internal welt pocket so it doesn't detract from the look, very pleased now

I bought the above, (the camouflage version), a few years ago in a sale they had. It’s the best jacket I’ve had for cold weather stalking. Well designed and well made. Extremely warm and comfy. I’m not a fan of camo in general but I really like the camo pattern on this jacket. It is subtle enough to wear out and about and blends in very well with the English countryside. And like all wool it’s very quiet. It’s not great in heavy rain as it does take a while to dry properly if it gets soaking wet.
I also like the bison bushcraft shirts. I practically live in mine, all year!
I got the small/regular which is perfect for me. It is quite a ‘big’ jacket but a winter coat needs to be big enough to wear other layers, jumper etc underneath. Some of the reviews say the sizing is big, so bear that in mind. Their customer service is very good by all accounts, so if you are interested but unsure after measuring yourself and checking their sizing guide then just email them and ask their advice. How did you find sizing out of interest?
