Where’s Jason Doyle these days?? Perhaps due to covid restrictions etc he’s not able to film much. I like his style of presentation and I remember a while back he was asking our views on what we’d like to see on such programs...... I hope he’s still onboard with these guys!!

Yep, I liked Fieldsports Ireland and I saw that a Jason Doyle popped up here. I pm'ed him and asked if he was the Jason Doyle of Fieldsports Ireland and he said "Yes". I told him that a I learned a lot from his videos.

I hope he doesn't mind me saying this but he mentioned that he had got married and moved to Yorkshire and was looking for some stalking ground there to continue.

Fieldsports Yorkshire, I suppose, as the locals at least regard it as a separate country.

This is freely available on the FSC website, so not a members-only "perk", just useful information worth having to hand.
If there's a better way to spend £1 a week on our sport, I don't know what it is.

I was one of the early shareholders and yes very impressed with how things are developing and their promotion of all things Fieldsport related.

I think things are changing in the world of Fieldsports with a focus much more on quality rather than quantity. I am not sure 400 plus bag days on driven phaesants have a long future, but a group of friends going for a day's rough shooting for a mixed bag, and also deer stalking are becoming increasingly popular.

In the future I think much more shooting will be over dogs, especially pointers - shooting grouse over pointers is something I would love to do.

The “Shitting shurrr” is rubbish in comparison with Fieldsports Britain. Production quality alone on FB is miles ahead, while the SS is of a similar to what we produced at college on the media studies course.

I'm still on the scene! Covid, working in Scotland and a baby on the way have all hampered my filming possibilities but I'm in talks with the FS lads to get back at it very soon. Really appreciate the nice comment, thank you.

Sorry to hear you have emigrated to the far side of the Irish Sea JD. You do know that there is still an extradition agreement in force between the RoI and Krankieville?
More seriously I always enjoyed your videos and promise never to mention the missed fox, honest.

No stalking at all really. Pulled the trigger once since 1st september so missing it a lot. Next season will be better though.......I hope!

Married and a youngster? If most new fathers’ experiences are anything to go by the child will be about 15 before you get back to shooting and even then it will be fitted in around you providing 24hrs taxi service!

Hmmm well hopefully I'll manage a bit. I work 4 week rotations so will have good spells off to earn brownie points and do a bit of shooting. If we are filming it's technically "work" so that may buy me some time out of the house or am I just being naive??

Defo the latter sir! And don’t forget that if number 2 comes along the 15 year cycle resets back to zero and so on and on and on..........
Then suddenly they have all grown up and flown the nest. Then your stalking days return.

Then get out of the house and stay out of the house for as long as you possibly can. Looking after children does your head in.
Why women want children is beyond me.
