Hi,
I would be grateful for some help please.
I have a mate who has a Parker Hale. Not sure if it's a hunter or safari. 243 win ( apparently it's been out of production for 23yrs,his view). Attached picture of rifle. Scope in background is irrelevant.
What receiver base mounts did a Parker Hale come with ?? Or what are the I.d numbers for a matched set??
As He had the original bases that fit on the receiver machined so any sizing I.d have been machined off. Currently he has a rear base, stock end, with A.28 the front base with A22. The rear base is thicker than the front base. (The original bases have a slight height diffeference but not as much as the current one's). He also has a front base with A3 so clearly there are different sizes
Also unable to fit his Schmidt bender 6x42 on to the rifle as unable to get scope back far enough for correct eye relief. The front mount needs to be off set back towards the stock.
Any suggestions please on what the correct matching bases should be and best way to get over the mounting issues.
Thanks
