I doubt you’d say that about these ones, they didn’t line up and would have put a dent in the scope. The Hawke are better than those warne imo. I’ve a pet hate of the Warne they work but so much hassle with them compared to others.

Pretty good “Customer Care” IMHO so full marks to them.![]()
Beretta has just released a safety recall regarding the BRX1 straight-pull repeater.
Safety recall for Beretta BRX1 rifle* a safety recall regarding the BRX1 straight-pull repeater* press release* BRX1 rifles* BRX1s return to the companywww.all4shooters.com

From what I was told it caused a slam fire when closed. Luckily it was pointed in a safe direction so no danger on that occasion but you can understand why they need to recall it.Pretty good “Customer Care” IMHO so full marks to them.
Purely out of curiosity why would anyone put the charging handle on back to front and what if anything are the consequences? Indeed you would have thought that the design would have precluded the chance of actually doing this - however……….

Yeah, that’s why I’ve mounted it that far back. I really am impressed with how slick that bolt is.Glad it's working well. Can you keep your head behind the scope and still work the bolt without getting hit on the nose?

Even when you don't think you have to you need to factor in that someone will do something stupid and take steps to prevent it![]()
Just seen this on You tube so thought might be useful to some. I couldn’t see it posted on SD
It shows the upgrade. A good reference video perhaps to make sure you have got the upgrade on your rifle. Reading in between the lines then it would seem pre upgrade putting the handle in the wrong way round could expose the firing pin from the bolt face which would tie in with the risk of slam fire as suggested above.
Ps any update on what it’s like to shoot?
All the best

Nope. No regrets for me. Really enjoying it.Looks nice, feels ok but would you regret not buying a blaser in the end?
Neither, personally I preferred the action on the beretta, still do. Only thing the blaser has going for it IMHO is the scope mounts and calibre availability. I imagine this will change thoughLooks nice, feels ok but would you regret not buying a blaser in the end?
Probably has the same drawback as the blaser. As in the bolt coming back towards your eye/cheek when cycling bolt. Still great value on beretta. I wonder how accurate beretta is compared to merkel helix and blaser R8Neither, personally I preferred the action on the beretta, still do. So I posted a few pictures of my scope mounting. When I mounted it further back with a cheek rest I could cycle the bolt and keep mounted.Probably has the same drawback as the blaser. YesCan you have it left hand bolt but keep ejection right hand side ?
Paul?
