Slippy Sling

I’m finding that I am constantly having to ‘hutch’ my rifle back on to my shoulder when out stalking. It’s a Butler Creek Stretch Comfort sling. Can anyone recommend a sling that is comfy enough but might stay on my shoulder?

Is that a make?
It is indeed.

Mine are ebay specials. So no make/name.
But they have a little webbing loop forward of the shoulder pad. That hangs down in fromt of your arm pit. And is perfectly located to pop your thumb through as you walk. Holds the rifle in the upright position no problem.

get some thin neoprene sheet and either stick it or sew a patch on the inside of the sling and it will not move, you can buy neoprene that is adhesive backed

Try these guys, I purchased a mixed material sling with rubber insets from there, works 100% really pleased, got rid of the swinging rifle syndrome

On one of my rifles I have a cheap (£15 TO £20 ish) BSA sling that has a rubber inner surface. It rarely slips. On another I have a heavy leather sling that I made myself many years ago. It slipped all the time and drove me mad until I bought some 3mm thick neoprene on e-bay. I glued and stitched a long oval piece of that inside the leather and it very rarely gives me any trouble at all now.
