They are just restocking. The problem is getting hold of any 22 at the moment. With worrying rumours about the NSRA shop today as well.

Oh right, that's good then. I was worried they were doing nothing because the believe they don't need to do anything....bit like the British bike industry in the 60's.Saving their pennies and waiting to see what happens, then make a move, in business strategy its called slow follower, with their brand establishment, it makes perfect sense as they can see what transpires, then act and produce/replicate and still retain large market share
Busy selling as much lead as they can to the states!Where is eley in all this nonsense?
Did how did you expect it to look? Little stabilizing fins?? For what they charge you'd expect it!!Is it me or does it just look like err any other 22![]()
Perhaps they just realised that if they produce them like how they did 50 years ago they might just be onto a winner!Did how did you expect it to look? Little stabilizing fins?? For what they charge you'd expect it!!
You would hope that the enhanced performance would come with the building. ~Muir
Nobody does. I remember 60-ish years ago returning a box of Winchester 22LR because I had ONE dud. The guy took it very seriously: called the plant, took LOT numbers and returned the unused portion of the ammo to the factory in exchange for two fresh boxes. People take "FTF"s as a norm these days. I take rim fire hunting seriously. IF I work myself into position for a shot and I get 'click' I'm going to be very upset.Perhaps they just realised that if they produce them like how they did 50 years ago they might just be onto a winner!
Busy selling all their ammo in the US - you certainly can't find it here.Where is eley in all this nonsense?
Odd they buying eley then......Busy selling all their ammo in the US - you certainly can't find it here.
Precision .22 has become quite popular there all of a sudden.
I have moved to Lapua. Purely due to consistent availability.Odd they buying eley then......![]()
They already use lead free primers in some of their 9mm ammo so they're definitely ahead of a few manufacturers on what they offer and where they see a gap in the market. The company I’m most intrigued by and expect some interesting developments by in europe is Fiocchi. Great business, loads of scope to grow if they nail a niche market in non-lead
Banning lead has absolutely NOTHING to do with health, the environment or safety.New from lapua, might be of interest for some.
I was intrigued that lapua obviously envisages some future for lead .22 despite all the terrible, terrible danger associated with lead projectiles.

Bloody hell, it's like watching the march of the living dead.
They tried to stop us driving and being able to refuel many years ago, fortunately an alternative lead free fuel was invented! Phew!Banning lead has absolutely NOTHING to do with health, the environment or safety.

Many nations that have banned lead shot haven't touched bullets . Pretty sure NZ kept lead in 410 for wildfowl because of the younger shooters and the fact so little is actually used against what exists .New from lapua, might be of interest for some.

slightly different with .22 rf , simply because so many leave Rats, Crows, Squirrels, Foxes and such in the field . Before the impending ban many venues insisted on buried Gralloch on deer but enough folks ignored it so now more and more we are told none toxic only !
