What quads can you get in an Ifor P6e?

I took the sides off my nugent 7ft trailer recently, and with a new shape trx420 without the sides it fitted with lots of spare room.

The maximum length measurement is from the bull bars at the front so without the sides it enables you drive the quad in so the tyres touch the sides, the overhang giving you more room to the rear.

I get a canam 570 on a p6e. But only without the mesh sides, and backwards. It's just luck that it works in that orientation though.
I suspect that at least the footprint of the wheels of your trx420 will fit, it's just whether or not the front/rear bike overhang will foul on the trailer ramp. However, even that could be removed!

Have you got a photo of this you could post? I’m thinking of getting an Outlander 570 but wanted to see on in a P6e before I proceed.
Thanks
Sam

2024 Yam kodiak 450 fits without and rubs front and back with the sides on. Even if you have it strapped down it will flex every way on the susspension. I keep my sides off. Front winch holds it to the drawbar and a strap over the rear axle to floor plates.

Yup, got some photos I took a few years ago for the same purpose... to show someone how the 570 fits on a p6e!

Note that my bike doesn't have the front bumper bar thing, but it does have slightly oversize tyres and still fits. I've got an older photo of a can am 400 (450?) on the same trailer. It's got standard tyres and does have the front bumper bar (slightly rubbing the ramp), but again, it still fits.

That’s great, thank you for sharing.
How do you get on with your 570?

Thanks
Sam

Another one for the Can-am 570 Pro
Nice snug fit

Also had a Yamaha Grizzly 660 in the same trailer with no issues 👍

It's powerful, pulls well, really good engine braking, very capable with the right tyres.
Bad points are that it's heavy, so when it does get stuck/bogged it's difficult to get out on your own. Get a winch! It's also quiet noisy. I'm looking to get another exhaust silencer.

You can always manufacture a wedge shape that goes in between the trailer and the drop-down. That way you’ll fit an 800cc on! 😉
In order to fit trial bikes in ours I extended the tail gate fasteners with bits of tubing

I know a lot of the bigger quads won’t fit (and if I had my time again I’d definitely go bigger than the P6e 🤦‍♂️) but what have you got that does fit - ideally with the mesh sides still in place?

Letting the trailer dictate which quad to buy is Tail wagging the dog to a certain degree but don’t want yo have to fork out for a new trailer as well!
I’m sure my trailer is p6e
Suzuki 500 will just fit 2019 quad but it is tight,
