He’s had six months, but looking at the original thread, the OP from this thread hasn’t had contact since the end of September.
It isn’t asking a lot for an email or a PM to explain the delay.

Honestly life would have to be extremely difficult for a simple communication to another person regarding the sale to be impossible. I don’t have any sympathy. He’s clearly out of order. I’ve seen it all before in Business….. first they stop paying then stop replying then go bust.

Do not go near him or his house - a face-to-face in these circumstances can quickly deteriorate and all it needs is an accusation to be made and your guns and fac will be promptly removed. Frustrating as it is do it formally as a number of members have set out above.

It’s unfortunate that in starting this thread the Op has, possibly unintentionally, made known the seller. Not ideal if something has happened to the person in question that precludes a response.

Yes its apparent some people know who it is. People scared of there own shadow on this forum for fear of losing there guns.
If you can go around there and have a calm and rational conversation and know when to walk away, there’s no issue.
Small claims will want to see you’ve made effort to recover your money. Start sending formal letters to the guy.
