Buying goods on the SD

By all means name them - but that may not be shaming - as more often than not there is a good reason behind it, family issues, illness etc….

Tag them into the thread so they are aware of it and hopefully it’ll get resolved.

Honestly life would have to be extremely difficult for a simple communication to another person regarding the sale to be impossible. I don’t have any sympathy. He’s clearly out of order. I’ve seen it all before in Business….. first they stop paying then stop replying then go bust.

It’s unfortunate that in starting this thread the Op has, possibly unintentionally, made known the seller. Not ideal if something has happened to the person in question that precludes a response.

I hope this gets sorted to both parties satisfaction.

Yes its apparent some people know who it is. People scared of there own shadow on this forum for fear of losing there guns.

If you can go around there and have a calm and rational conversation and know when to walk away, there’s no issue.

Small claims will want to see you’ve made effort to recover your money. Start sending formal letters to the guy.

Lodge a Small Claim at your local Court.
He either turns up for the hearing and has to explain why he has defaulted on the agreement (contract) or the Court will find against him, and the bailiff will be visiting.
