Sooo, has it been shot out yet or are we still waiting on body armour?
vice and piece of string tied to trigger?I'll be putting my PPE on tomorrow night and going for it! Hopefully I'll still have a hand to type and update after![]()
....... I can't push it out unfortunately because the Westlake Taurus cylinder doesn't have removable nipples like a black powder pistol. The pockets for shot shell primers are machined into the cylinder.
Just fire it...I'll be putting my PPE on tomorrow night and going for it! Hopefully I'll still have a hand to type and update after![]()

I’ll give that a try when I get home. Were it I, I'd carefully hacksaw the case head off, or at least enough to get the powder out, then continue cutting the head off. Then use a broken screw extractor (like an Irwin EX-3; which should be the right diameter to grip the case wall), and break it loose from the die. I had to use this method on a Mauser that had a case head separation, and it worked well (different size screw extractor of course).
I keep forgetting about the lead lifting properties of boiling water, don't know why because that's how my dad always cleaned his shotgun. I'm still using it today and the bores are like they left the factory.Well I never.
Pour copious amounts of boiling water over the cylinder. The lead will lift off.
