Anybody else ride motorcycles? Post them here.

how are these viewed, through the eyes of the bike mobs?

I thought they were quite interesting looking bikes but obviously fantastically expensive. A lot cheaper than the real thing though!

yea from what i heard it was heavily rained in telford on the initial date they had

The Cosford venue was swapped for Weston Park this year, the grass at Weston was drenched and like a bog.

They should leave the event until later in the year, every year.

I'm just back from a quick blatt through the local back lanes on Fatlad.
I'm now in two minds about selling it..

I just have...
I live up on the fells in North Cumbria
Obviously you are into S and M. There is no helping the likes of you…..

Actually, every now and again I get a hankering for a Hardly Rideable, but it would have to be a glide, always liked the look of them. When I finally got to ride one through Norwich city centre, I couldn’t believe how little you could lean it before the boards ground out. Think that was something like a 1980 electraglide.

It's a lovely bike,
It's just really heavy at low speeds and I ain't getting any younger.
Need to be realistic and get something a bit lighter

I miss bikes , but with 22 road deaths on bikes this year so far , in Scotland , with 3 last weekend.

Not far from me.

I’m happy with missing them.

Watching the NW and the TT gives me a wee fix

I understand that but I’ve never thought that’s the way to look at it.

There are far more dangerous sports .

My old mate was on that road at Carters bar when the crash happened. He stopped by to warn me there would likely be a high police presence for the foreseeable.
He rides a ZX10r. He’s 78.

You always get that thing of "I'd never ride a bike I know someone that died on one".

So what, I know people who have died in cars, I still drive.

If you dont want to road ride, just do track days.
