I had a little problem with my Diamondback 8x32 binos the other day. I got back to the car to find that one of the eyecups, complete with its twist-up mechanism, had completely disappeared...
A small amount of googling when I got home told me that NewPro were the people to contact for UK warranty claims on binoculars (but not for scopes, etc.)
I fired off an email that night and had a response back at breakfast time the following day. For the cost of postage they sent me a replacement and a spare.
DISASTER.
Two rubber reyecups arrive in the post, but no twist mechanism. I fire off another email and get a response back within the hour on a Saturday morning. The guy I've been dealing with apologises, the usual chap is on holiday and this one hadn't realised they were two separate parts. The twist mechanism arrived the next day.
Hard to fault NewPro service and gives confidence in the Vortex warranty if I did ever need to claim for anything worse.
