Had a Aeroklas on my last ranger nice canopy easy to install and take off about 15 minutes although colour coded never seemed identical colour match with the truck.

Protop I have the high with side doors
Transforms your truck into a much more usable vehicle

Thanks for the reply been looking at a protop normal height how are the door seals and general build quality
Bb
Pretty good. Seals are good and it’s well made

Couple of niggles with the cable operated catches on the side doors but nothing bad really .
Takes weight on top as well as it has built in rails and tie down points on the roof

Aeroklas has been poor on mine. 4-5 years old now and I've re-soldered the elevated brake light and heated rear window about 8 times where the wire snaps where it flexes with the door opening. I'm running out of wire soon and it disappears inside the roof lining! Rear handle is badly corroded and the paint has all flaked off. Leaks badly along the seals on the sides of the tub.

N and J are the best in my experience,Truckman are poor and customer service abysmal,Aeroklas are even worse as they are only marketed as showerproof, the internal light needs constantly replaced and the locks are only alloy and strip at the first sign of frost, just my experience, cheers Davie

N&J aluminium linings come highly recommended, but not sure whether their range includes Mercs.
They are a brilliant company to do business with. They did a shooting top for me, quite a lot bigger than standard. Not sure if bramble basher is after posh or practical.
Compared to the carpeted, auto locking, lights and bells on the top my truck came with, it just wasn't suited to my requirements, so really useless apart from looked nice.

not really looking for all the bells and whistles don’t need carpet prefer the power washer style of cleaning gull wing sides are needed have drawers in back so just makes it easier to get stuff from the rest of the cab so far protop looking good

N&J or Mocho - if you can dream it they'll build it. Be aware of run times, they're busy people!

Another worth trying would be Gamic trailers in Mid Wales, bit more agricultural but maybe worth a look depending on the spec you're after.

Having used a Bushtech canopy on my VW now for 5 years, still as good as new.
Very strong, even rigged a winch to it to assist with getting deer into the back.
