Can't imagine his cheek weld is much good with height of the scope.Always wear suitable attire so as not to draw attention to oneself when you leave the premises, no camo, an evening suit is better...

Perfectly fine, that's me a few years ago.. off on a jolly to the Highlands of Scotland after a stag.... I've aged considerably since my "mod" days...Can't imagine his cheek weld is much good with height of the scope.
Much like the ZulusCan't imagine his cheek weld is much good with height of the scope.
There’s no legal limit in terms of calibre/cartridge or power for shooting a fox, so if that really is the case, they are talking out of their arse!I cant work out if im gobsmacked at what im reading, or if im learning new things i never knew
such as shooting rifles other that Air rifles in ones garden, and 2, using a 22lr, west yorkshire police say you cant even shoot fox with a 17 hmr, centre fire only,
Police/FLO telling us what they want is to believe. True or false. NeverThere’s no legal limit in terms of calibre/cartridge or power for shooting a fox, so if that really is the case, they are talking out of their arse!

Be a good scarf model. He does have rather a long neck.
Possibly, or they are just repeating what they have been told from a position of ignorance, and aren’t challenged by anyone.Police/FLO telling us what they want is to believe. True or false. Never![]()
i did challange them, and i also pointed out that a mate of mine in north Yorkshire can shoot fax with HMR, yet i in west Yorkshire am not allowed, so technically he can be in one field and can shoot fox, i be in the one next to him and cant, i also asked what it was about the roe deer in scotland where they can be shot with a .223, yet not here, i got no answer to either,Possibly, or they are just repeating what they have been told from a position of ignorance, and aren’t challenged by anyone.
The guidance and the law are very clear on this, anyone should be able to direct them to the correct answer.
If say you requested a 17hmr for rabbits and your licence came back with vermin and all other legal quarry you are fine.i did challange them, and i also pointed out that a mate of mine in north Yorkshire can shoot fax with HMR, yet i in west Yorkshire am not allowed, so technically he can be in one field and can shoot fox, i be in the one next to him and cant, i also asked what it was about the roe deer in scotland where they can be shot with a .223, yet not here, i got no answer to either,
You won't, you are not helping them by making sure they can't be held accountable. Just get the grant and go about your legal business instead of hoping for some kind of rubber-stamped approval.i got no answer to either,

Where people go wrong is asking for etc etc. The moment one asks something you are pretty much doomed! The reason why a certain force may not want to grant a certain rifle for fox control is counter litigation measure and has no basis in law.
As far as I am aware 17 hmr in the guidance to the police for firearms licensing is not excluded from fox shooting.
It's obvious really otherwise due to using the stupid system that refers to ft/lbs for pretty much everything they would have to exclude all rimfires and that isn't going to happen no matter how much they hoped!

So what did your rimfire get conditioned for?i did challange them, and i also pointed out that a mate of mine in north Yorkshire can shoot fax with HMR, yet i in west Yorkshire am not allowed, so technically he can be in one field and can shoot fox, i be in the one next to him and cant, i also asked what it was about the roe deer in scotland where they can be shot with a .223, yet not here, i got no answer to either,
it says Vermin, AND ANY OTHER SUITABLE QUARRY FOR THAT CALIBER,So what did your rimfire get conditioned for?
there a bunch of clowns then, why is 223 ok for roe in Scotland, but not in EnglandCalibre for Deer is nothing the FLD have control over. That is governed by the deer act of whatever country you are shooting in.
