Don’t list 6.5 x54Can you not just go on Vihtavuori site and look it up??
Hi sierra match king 120gr. Oal 3.01Post the bullet make/type and the cartridge length, and I'll see if Quickload will help.

Many thanks much appreciatedPersonally, I never tried bullets lower in weight than 140gn - I have 2 MSch 1903's, a stutzen & a Takedown.
The 1903 was initially designed to shoot 160gn bullets, but 140's shoot well - I have no idea if the barrel twist will stabilise a 120gn bullet
Great many thanks much appreciatedAccording to Quickload:
36 grains of N150.........MV 791m/sec......Pmax 2568 bar (design Pmax 3650 bar)
36 grains N160......... 691m/sec................. 1805 bar
This is using a case capacity of 3.25cc's, which is Q/Loads value for this calibre.
Hope this helps, usual caveats apply...

It's 1:8" (u) like all the military 6.5mms, so there's no reason why this shouldn't work.thanks that’s what I’d planned on using
