Tikka .223 plastic 5 round magazine.

I had a good look at my TAC A1 .223 mag, which suffered from similar issues.
I’m 99% it’s because Tikka designed the mag for .308/6.5CM then put a re-sized round tray in it that just doesn’t work.
Fortunately the WR mags are flawless, and no more expensive than OEM

Is this just an issue with the plastic mags then?
My .223 TAC had steel mags

looking at a Tikka T3X Tac A1 in .308 hopefully won't suffer the same issues
No, you’ll be fine. The .308 uses the same magazine surround but with a properly designed round follower

But i suppose you cant always guarantee things are going to work 100% ..Bloke in my club bought a brand new AI AXSR and it won't load the first cartridge correctly from the mag..you would hope spending £10k+ would mean no issues but...
